Abraham was born about 1730. He was the was the son of Nathaniel Hendrick of Stratfield, CT.


Abraham Hendricks and Ephiam Sanford founders of Wayne, New York later called "Town of Frederickstown" on 18 May 1796. Early settler Anthony Swartwout. His daughter Rachel married Abraham Hendryx, Jr.


Abraham Sr. married Elizabeth Wanzer, 5 Dec 1751, New Fairfield, CT, by Ephraim Hubbell, J.P.

He married 2nd Anna ________ before 1770, she died after 1813, Queensbury, Warren, New York.


Abraham served in the Contential Revolutionary War, New York Militia. "New York in the Revolution as Colony and State", Vol. 1, pg. 238.
