Grace A. (Swartley) Detweiler of Blooming Glen died Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015, at Grand View Hospital. She was 86. She was the loving wife of Raymond W. Detweiler for 63 years. Born in Buckingham Township, she was a daughter of the late Elias and Mary Ann (Alderfer) Swartley.

Grace was a member of Deep Run Mennonite Church East. She was a skilled seamstress and a homemaker. Above all else, she was dedicated to her family.

In addition to her husband, Grace is survived by her sons, Laverne Lee and Dean Arlin, both of Blooming Glen; her brother, Lawrence Swartley of Hatfield; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Naomi Yoder and Thelma Yoder.

Services will be held 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, at Deep Run Mennonite Church East, 350 Kellers Church Road, where the calling hour will be from 11 a.m. to noon. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
