J. Burwell Grant Died Wednesday After Heart Attack
J. Burwell Grant passed away at an Angleton hospital following a heart attack Wednesday morning.
He was a former resident of Honey Grove and had resided at La Porte for a number of years.
He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Grant.
He was married to Miss Hattie Lee Warren, who survives.
Other survivors are these brothers and sisters, Jack Grant, Mrs. Sid Smith, Mrs. Marie Carroll, all of Houston; and Jack Grant of Hugo, Okla.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete, however, the body will be returned to Honey Grove for burial some time Friday. West Funeral Home will be in charge of interment at Oakwood Cemetery.
