Elizabeth "Jean" Grose, 79, formerly of Whitewater, passed away Tuesday, October 13, in Port Charlotte, Florida.
She was born on June 9, 1936 in Richmond, Indiana to Elmer and Ruby Small Brumbaugh. She married Robert "Bob" G. Grose 59 years ago on June 10, 1956. She was retired from INA in Richmond and had lived in Punta Gorda, Florida for many years, where she was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Jean is survived by her husband, Bob; daughter, Kimberly Ann Grose; sister, Phyllis Alexander and several nieces & nephews.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Mary Wissler and Eva Sorchevich; and brothers, Calvin, Ray, Kenneth and Carl Brumbaugh.
A funeral ceremony will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 19, at the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home, 321 US 27 South, Fountain City. Interment will follow in Glen Haven Memory Gardens.
Family & friends may gather for visitation from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday, October 18, at the funeral home.
