This was a 7-month-old Mulatto female who died of "scrofula" (an old term for glandular swelling, often associated with TB). She died on November 9, 1853. She was a native of Charleston and her residence was on American Street. She was buried at "Baptist Church Burial Ground", which is now known as Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery.
