Mr. Billy Kerlin III, age 38, Zebulon, passed away October 1, 2015, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was a 1996 graduate of Pike County High School, and a carpenter who enjoyed building with his hands. He loved his mother and children very much. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Kerlin II.
He is survived by his mother and step-father: Debbie and Todd Scott of Zebulon; brothers and a sister-in-law: Brian Scott of Jonesboro, Blake and Jenni Scott of Concord, and Tyler Scott of Zebulon; children and their mother: Zackery Marler, Nate Kerlin, and Nicole Kerlin; grandmothers: Doris Kerlin of Fayetteville, Dottie Klawetter of Zebulon, Gene and Becky Klawetter of Waynesville, NC; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and special friend: Karen.
Friends may visit the family on Sunday, October 4, from 2-3 p.m., at the funeral home. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home with Pastor Marc Pritchett officiating. Burial will follow in Moody Memorial Gardens in Zebulon.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
