Virgil Hallie Hutson, 86, passed away Sept. 26, 2014, in Bend, Ore. Virgil was born Aug. 10, 1928, in Hood River, Ore., to Jess Melvin Hutson and Winifred Augusta (Harding).
Virgil worked in quality control as a fabricator for Freightliner. In his free time he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
His first marriage was to Florence Abbott.
He then married Esther May (Williams) on Sept. 9, 1962, in Parkdale, Ore.
Virgil is survived by his wife, Esther; three children: Virgil Hutson, Linda Pyle and Kathi Blanchard; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Winifred Hutson, and his brothers, Lyle and Willard Hutson.
A funeral service was held Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2014.
