WATERBURY — Funeral services for Salvatore Favale, 73, of Hewey Street, were held Wednesday, October 20, at 8:15 a.m. from the Colasanto Funeral Home to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church for a Mass at 9 a.m. Entombment was in Calvary Garden Mausoleum.
Mr. Favale, husband of Carmela (Sica) Favale, died Sunday, October 17, at his home. He was born April 3, 1920, in Torella dei Lombardi, Italy, son of the late Vincenzo and Antonia (Faiia) Favale. He was a retired employee of Uniroyal Footwear, a member of the Holy Name Society of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, and also was a communicant of the church.
Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Vincent A. and Salvatore J. Favale, both of Waterbury; two daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Mary A.) Torp and Mrs. Jay (Denise C.) Angle, both of Watertown; two brothers, Guiseppe Favale of Waterbury and Michael Favale of Italy; and five grandchildren.
