On Jan. 7, 1885 she was united in marriage to George Grant Hake in Platteville, Grant County, WI. They were the parents of an infant son who died at birth, Mabel, Walter who died age 1 yr 9 mo, Wesley, Melvin, Laura and Velva.
In 1913, she and her husband moved their family to Cornell, where she was an active member of the Methodist Church.
