Obit from Messenger of Truth Issue 19, 2015:

Julitta Koehn was born June 5, 1939, to John B. and Ida Becker Koehn in McPherson County, Kansas. She passed away August 23, 2015, at Mercy Hospital, Moundridge, Kansas, having reached seventy-six years of age.
In her childhood, Mom attended the Farms School, where she received her elementary education. At the age of eleven, Mom gave her heart to the Lord and became His child. She was baptized December 15, 1950, at Lone Tree Church, Galva, Kansas, and she served the Lord faithfully all her life. When she entered the workforce, she was employed for some years at the Moundridge Clinic as a receptionist.
On May 21, 1967, Julitta was married to me, Melvin Koehn and we enjoyed forty-eight years together. One son and three daughters came to bless our home. Mom devoted her life to her home and children. The grandchildren also held a very special place in her life, and she took a real interest in them, often inquiring about their lives and activities.
Soon after marriage, Dad and Mom settled on the homeplace where she grew up and where we children spent our childhood. Dad was a farmer and mechanic. Mom was a homemaker who also drove the truck in wheat harvest, answered the phone in the shop, went for parts, ferried customers' cars, and worked side-by-side with Dad in his endeavors. They became a part of the Gospel Congregation in Moundridge, and Mom served many years on the food committee and as a Sunday school teacher. Our congregation enjoyed the essays she wrote for various occasions, written with inspiration and depth of feeling. In January 2010, we moved to Moundridge, where we lived until the time of her passing.
In the good times and difficult times in life, we could depend on Mom's steady, quiet faith as an example to us. God helped her through the sad times when she lost a grandson, and in 2003 when her daughter, Vonalee, suddenly and unexpectedly passed away. Her faith intact, Mom accepted such times and faced life with courage and trust in God. As children, in our childhood and teen years, we found security in knowing Mom was always there and, in her quiet, unassuming way, would fill the need.
As Mom's health declined, we realized her time was coming to a close. As Mom reflected on her life, she wished for another touch from the Lord to assure her heart of her salvation. Some days before her passing, she felt God clearly spoke, telling her that she was His child. She faced the time of her passing with calmness, and we feel comforted to know that her suffering is over, and she is at rest in peace.
Mourning her passing are her sorrowing husband, Melvin, Moundridge, Kansas; one son, Verlynn and Jennifer, Galva, Kansas; two daughters, Vianne and Steve Koehn, Moundridge, Kansas, and Rochelle and Stephan Koehn, Barron, Wisconsin; eleven grandchildren; one sister, Arvilla and husband, Frank Nightingale, Verden, Oklahoma; one sister-in-law, Alvina Koehn, Moundridge, Kansas; stepmother-in-law, Nina Koehn, Moundridge, Kansas; and many nephews, nieces, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepmother, three brothers, and one sister; one daughter, and one grandson.
Funeral services were held August 27, 2015, at the Gospel Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, Moundridge, Kansas. Ministers Dale Koehn, Dale Becker, and Doyle Johnson officiated. Burial was in the Lone Tree Church Cemetery, Galva Kansas.
