Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, January 31, 1995 at Assembly of God Church in Aurora. Interment was held at the Wisner Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Herman Daberkow

Herman A. Daberkow, the son of August and Pauline (Heller) Daberkow, was born at Irvington, Nebraska, on September 21, 1911, and died at Aurora, Nebraska, on January
28, 1995, at the age of 83 years, 4 months, and 7 days.

He attended school in Cuming County, and most of his life was spent in Wisner, Nebraska, where he worked as a carpenter and moson.

He served his country during World War 2 in the United States Army, from December 18, 1942, until December 22, 1945, he attained the rank of Corporal, and served in ground combat at Normandy, northern France, Rhineland, and Central Europe.

In May of 1992, he moved to Aurora, where he lived in nursing homes.

Herman was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith, and was a member of the Wisner V.F.W. Post # 576.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, and one sister.

Those who remain to cherish his memory are his brother Hugo of Curtiss, and nieces and nephews.
Hugo buried 2001 in Chapman Cemetery, Chapmin, Nebraska (Merrick County, Nebraska, USA)
