Jesse Adcox was the man that raised my grandfather, James Franklin Adcox. But he was NOT his biological father. He married my great grandmother, Elizabeth Jane Johnson in January of 1900 when she was already expecting a child ( my grandfather) that was not biologically his. My grandfather, James was raised as Jesse's son.
Elizabeth ( Liza Jane) and Jesse went on to have many more children who are my family today. :)
