Surrounded by her loving family, Mrs. Joyce M. Zielinski, passed away peacefully at home on September 24, 2015, at the venerable age of 80 years 7 months and 4 days.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, generosity, and humility that touched the heart of everyone blessed to be in her life. Joyce truly made everyone feel special.

Joyce was born February 20, 1935, to the late Walter C. and Rose C. (Orban) Idalski in Rogers City. Miss Joyce M. Idalski was united in Sacrament of Marriage with Mr. Raymond J. Zielinski on April 7, 1956, at St. Ignatius Catholic Church. She was a devoted and much loved wife and mother.

……Daniel Zielinski of Ypsilanti;
……Thomas (Karen) Zielinski of Naperville, Ill.;
……Mark (Mary) Zielinski of Coleman;
……Barbara (Andrew) Barger of Frankenmuth; and
……Paul (Sara) Zielinski of Grandville;
…27 grandchildren and
…7 great-grandchildren; and
…a brother,
……Ron (Kathleen) Idalski of Rogers City.

Joyce was preceded in death by:
…her parents,
……Walter C. Idalski and
……Rose C. Idalski, nee Orban;
…her brothers,
……Chester Idalski,
……Walter Idalski Jr., and
……Leo Idalski;
…a sister,
……Eleanor Darga; and
…a beloved granddaughter,
……Elizabeth Grulke.

A devoted member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church and its Rosary Society, Joyce was also active in the Rogers City High School Athletic Boosters and Rogers City Little League. More than anything, she dedicated her life to God and her family.

Friends may visit at St. Ignatius Catholic Church on Monday, September 28, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. through time of mass at 11:00 a.m. with Rev Sylvestre Obwaka officiating.
