Rosamond Gatlin Barnett, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, went to her eternal home on Monday, September 21, 2015. She was 78 years old. She leaves behind to cherish her memories: her granddaughter, Brandy Campbell and husband Chris; two great-grandchildren, Marli Rae Campbell and Myles Christopher Campbell; daughter in law, Winnie Sandifer; sister, Marilyn G. Fortenbedrry, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Thursday, September 24, 2015, from 10 am until Celebration of Life Service at 1 pm, conducted by Rev. Keith Zachary. Burial will follow in Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, James R. Barnett Sr.; son, James R. Barnett, Jr.; daughter, Janet Barnett; Her parents; four brothers, and one sister.
