Curtis Ollie Bryer was born March 22, 1932 in Bonne Terre, Missouri to Gladys Adelia (Dodd) and Abraham Tilton Bryer. He moved to Texas at a young age and retired in Eagletown, OK untill a few years ago when he came back to Texas to be with his children and grandchildren.

He met the love of his life, Gloria Catherine Miller and they were married in July of 1955. They went on to create, love and raise a family of eight children. Curtis was quite the fisherman and loved camping. He ran Curtis Bryer Hydraulic Repair for many years and made the best brisket in the world. Family meant everything to him and he showed it by spreading love thru his wife and children, then passing it along and spoiling all the granddaughters.

Curtis is preceded by his parents, Gladys and Abraham Bryer. Four of his children; Dellar Catherine Bryer, Rose Marie Bryer, Thomas William Bryer and Oddlie Hart Bryer. He also joins his siblings Macy Baker, Matilda "Tillie" Stanley, George Bryer, Anna Bell McClendon, Juanita Wallace, Clifford Bryer, Ivey "Tootsie" McClane, Visty Irene Bryer and Sylvia Crane.

Curtis leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 60 years, Gloria. Children; Curtis Ollie Bryer Jr., Jenette Bryer, Jerry Jack Bryer, Abraham (Delila) Bryer and son in law, Danny Davis. He is also survived by his brother, T. W. Bryer.

Blood doesn't make you family, love does and he has more kids, grandkids and great grandkids than we can count. There are also many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
