Faye Y. Caskey, 79, of 1183 Brusselles St., St. Marys, died Friday, Sept. 18, 2015 at Penn Highlands Elk following a lengthy illness.

She was born June 25, 1936 in Johnsonburg, daughter of the late Issac and Lillian Gardner Carnahan.

She was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of Johnsonburg High School.

She was a former employee of Elk Haven.

On Dec. 23, 1986 in Ridgway, she married William F. Caskey and he survives.

Faye enjoyed baking, cooking and reading. Her name Faye in Spanish is faith and she had great faith and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of The Latter-Day Saints.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Patricia of Warriors Mark and Cynthia of North Carolina; three sons, Charles of Erie, Stephen of Bradford, and William of Virginia; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ruth and Lottie of Erie.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Wanda Marie McQuone in infancy; and by six brothers, Charles, Stewart, Lawrence, Ronald and George Carnahan, and by a brother in stillbirth, Issac Carnahan.

SERVICES:
The Church of Jesus Christ of The Latter-Day Saints,
1159 Shelvey Summit Rd., Ridgway,
Saturday, Sept. 26 at 11 a.m.
with Pastor Philip Walton officiating.
Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Park.
There will be no visitation.
