After her husband returned from service in World War II, she remained home and took care of their two sons.
Mrs.

Southern loved to watch all types of sports, especially when it came to the Tennessee Volunteers.

She loved to travel, spend time at the beach, garden, square dance, and would not miss her daily walks. She never found anything sweet she didn't like, and the color pink made all things better.

Family and friends will meet on Monday, September 21, 2015 at 10am at Oak Ridge Memorial Park for a graveside service with Eddie Raymond officiating. Weatherford Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
