Kirby, Lula Lee Turley Cameron – 92 of Rutledge went home to be with the Lord, Monday morning, October 19, 2009. She was also known as Nan, and Aunt Tootie to those who loved her. She was a member of Chilhowee Hills Baptist Church and volunteered as a Pink Lady at St. Mary's Hospital for 25 years. Lula was a very gracious lady who loved the Lord, life, family and friends. Preceded in death by husband, John William Cameron; sister, Martha Whitt; and brothers, Bill and Dan Turley. Survived by husband, Clarence Kirby; daughter, Sharon Lee Cameron; grandchildren, Chris, Jason, and Jennifer Scates; great granddaughter, Mollie Lee Lehman-Scates; sister, Roberta Southern; brother-in-law, Robert Cameron; step children, Patsy Clark and husband Lewis, Camilla Jordan and husband Jackie, Linda Coles and husband John, and Brenda Kirby. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday, October 21, 2009, in the chapel at Bridges Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Peek and Rev. Chandler Vinson officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 AM Thursday at Narrow Valley Cemetery for an 11:00 AM interment. Pallbearers: Larry Whitt, Doug Smith, Eddie Turley, Tommy Charles, Jason Scates, and Chris Scates.
