Funeral services were Mrs. Laura Chawthorne was conducted last Thursday night at the Pleasant Grove MB church. Rev. Davis officiated. She died at the Osceola hosp. Mrs. Chawthorne lived in this community most of her life. She was servived by her husband, I. T. Chawhorne; her mother, who live in Pine Bluff; two sisters; three brothers; one God child, Barbara Chawhorne; and a host of friends. Barabin Mortuary in charge. Burial was in Pilgrim Rest Cemetery.
