Walter F. Jacoby, son of Mr & Mrs Michael Jacoby of West Duluth, died at St Mary's hospital, Friday evening at ten o'clock as a result of an acute attack of peritonitis.
Walter Jacoby was born in Wabasha twenty-one years ago, but for the past eighteen years the family has lived in Duluth.
He was prominent and respected, and a great lover of out-door exercise. He was a member of the Western Curling Club of Duluth. For the past three years he was in the employ of the F.H. Wade Hardware Company.
He is survived by his parents, brothers Hugo & Arthur, and two sisters, Mrs H.J. Cohlgraff of Chicago and Mrs George H. Wilber of Mesa, Ariz.
The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon.
