John A. Green was born July 9, 1918 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and entered into eternal life on July 4, 2006 in Brighton, Colorado.

He was married for fifty-nine years to Mildred Q. Green, who passed away in 2001.

John was a partner at P&D Supply until 1952, then formed Palmer & Green Appliance Repair in Battle Creek, Michigan, retiring in 1981. John had lived in Brighton, Colorado since 2000 and experienced a short illness following a hip fracture. He was a member of the Brighton Seventh-Day Adventist Church and a supporter of several charities. He was a kind and generous man, always thoughtful and courteous of others. He will be greatly missed by those who loved him most.

He is survived by his sister, Ida Wall; nieces, Mary A. Miller and Diane Taylor, all living in Brighton; and other relatives in Colorado and Michigan.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Banfield Cemetery near Johnstown Township, Michigan. Arrangements are being handled by Tabor-Rice Funeral Home, Brighton, Colorado.
