Matilda Martin McMullen recived Homestead Certificate #2262 under application #8495 on 30 Dec 1882 Dardanelle, Yell County, Arkansas for the land document it is written, "claim of Matilda McMullen, widow of James McMullen, deceased." So she died after 30 Dec 1882. I found no will or estate for either "Merit Martin & Ruth Clark are my direct line. she was not Ruth Sebetha Clark. She was mixed up with a New Jersey Tabitha Jones Martin in an 1850 Census whose name was transcribed as Sebetha in the index married to a Merrick Martin who was listed as Merit Martin in census.
