Marie H. Lange, beloved sister, aunt and great-aunt, passed away March 20, 1993 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

She was born in Minnesota, the oldest daughter of Thomas R. and Delia McDonnell Horner. Educated in Minnesota, she moved to Salt Lake City and taught at the Wasatch School. She married L.H. (Jim) Lange, a noted metallurgical engineer, who died December 29, 1973. She traveled with him to mines throughout the world and shared her experiences of these travels generously. She was a member of WAIMME for more than 50 years and a member of Our Lady of Lords and St. Ann's parishes of Salt Lake City.

Marie's family would like to thank the sisters and all of the 2 North nursing staff of St. Joseph Villa who gave her such devoted care.

Survived by sister, Mrs. Arthur Blake (Helen) Thomas; nieces, Helen Marie Thomas and Harriet Lawrence; great-niece, Claire Lawrence, all of Salt Lake City; and numerous nieces and nephews in the mid-West.

Prayer services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 23 at Evans & Early Mortuary, 574 East 100 South, where friends may call Monday evening from 6:30 to 7:30 with the rosary at 7:30 p.m. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to St. Joseph Villa, 475 Romona, Salt Lake City, UT 84115 or the charity of your choice.
