Hazel Faye (Hall) Weatherly, Jamestown, ND died peacefully at Eventide Jamestown on September 2, 2015, under the care of hospice. 

Hazel was born at Edmunds, ND January 7, 1916, to Roy and Emma (Norby) Hall. She later moved to a homestead near Vashti, ND, west of Pingree, ND. 

Hazel married Earl Weatherly on November 1, 1936, at the First Congregational Church at Jamestown and made their home on a farm north of Jamestown and later moved to a farm west of Eldridge. Earl passed away May 30, 1984 and she continued to live on the family farm. She moved to a home north of Jamestown in 1992 and became a resident of Eventide Nursing Home in September of 2012. 

Hazel worked at Trinity Hospital as a Obstetric Technician and at North Dakota State Hospital as a Psychiatric Technician. She was very active as a "Happy Homes" homemaker for 70 plus years. She was also active in her church, VFW and Eagles Axillaries. She especially enjoyed crafts, gardening, canning, flowers and bird watching. Her favorite pastime was working crossword puzzles, playing cards, visiting family and friends. 

Hazel is survived by her sons, Neil "Tex" (Donna) Weatherly, Merle Weatherly, Fay (Corinne) Weatherly; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Weatherly; brother, Gene Hall; sisters, Marion Conlin, Rhoda McCarthy; sister-in-law, Irene Hall. She is preceded in death by her husband, son, Donald and daughter-in-law, JoAn Weatherly (Kurtz), brothers, William, Roy & Harlan Hall, sister, Norma Henke and two granddaughters. 

Funeral Service: 2:00 PM, Monday, September 7 at First Congregational Church of Christ, Jamestown, ND with Pastor Martin Nussbaum, officiating. 

Prayer Service: 7:00 PM, Sunday, September 6 at Eddy Funeral Chapel. 

Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens.
