Roosevelt Clarke, born Dec. 2, 1939, in Roxie, Miss., and Sophia Clark, born April 2, 1937, in Natchez, Miss., died Friday, July 28, 2006, in their home in Baton Rouge. Roosevelt was employed for more than 15 years at Capitol Steel, and Sophia was a retired school teacher of the Natchez Adams County school system.

Visitation at Curtis Funeral Home, Natchez, on Thursday, Aug. 3, was from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting at Beulah Baptist Church, 710 Bee St., Natchez, on Friday from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Burial in Natchez National Cemetery.

They are survived by three children, Rochell Logan, Sylvia Thomas, and Eric Woodfolk; eight grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Sophia is also survived by three brothers and two sisters.
