DEFIANCE – Funeral services were held Wednesday at St. Peter's Church for Michael Kimmen, 74, who died Monday at an Iowa city hospital after an illness of several months. The Rev. Albert Davidsaver officiated. Burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery at Earling.
Survivors are: one son, Lawrence Kimmen; and two daughters, Mrs. Clara Gross and Mrs. Carl Coenen.
