KNOX -- Services for Hazel Hall, 88, of Countryside Place nursing home, formerly of 600 DelMaytr St., who died at 7:40 p.m. Monday in the nursing home, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Price and Van Gilder Funeral Home. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the funeral home.
Mrs. Hall was born Oct. 18, 1895, in Starke County, and was a lifelong resident of the area. On Oct. 17, 1914, in Knox, she married Frank Hall. He died April 8, 1976. A son, Devon, died Feb. 25, 1979. She and her husband owned a steam laundry and dry cleaning firm in Knox for 23 years. Mrs. Hall was a charter member of the Mothers of World War II No. 148 in Starke County, of which was a past president and past district president. She was a member of Knox Christian Church.
