Mrs. Orlena Victoria Floyd of Sumner died at St. Joseph's Hospital at 10:10 Saturday night. Born in Sumner, Mrs. Floyd was 78 years old. Her husband, John A. Floyd has been dead about 30 years.

Mrs. Floyd is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Leroy Wisely, and Mrs. H. S. Kamer, both of Sumner, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. C. H. Chitty, Ft. Worth, and Mrs. Ellen Graham, Willowbrook, Calif.

Mrs. Floyd has lived in the county all of her life. She was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church at Emerson.

Funeral arrangements are pending word from out-of-town relatives. Arrangements are with Brown-Roden Funeral Home.
