Clarence G. Grant is first cousin to John "Jack" Peter Grant - #66876632. Jack walked away from home at the age of 14 and the two were never to meet again even though they both ended up living in southern California.

He married (1) Agnes Boothby in 1924. They had children Marlin/Marland, Virginia, and Dennis Grant. The marriage ended in divorce in 1930. 1930 U.S. Census shows Agnes and the three children living in NM with her father Stuart Boothby, sister Alta & Alta's daughter Carol Pickell, and an "unknown" Raymond Grant, age 7. Agnes married (2) Herman S. Oakes as shown on the 1940 U.S. Census living in Baca, CO.

Clarence married (2) Dovie Mae Christy, March 25, 1931.

Clarence worked for the federal government for 30 years, retiring September 30, 1957, and then worked six years for the County of San Diego.
