Funeral services for Mrs. Bonnylin McKoin Wooden are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, December 31, 2005 at Greenacres Baptist Church with the Rev. Royce Christmas and Rev. Chad Ballard officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home, Bastrop.

Visitation with the family will be Friday evening from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Wooden, age 87, died Thursday night after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Harlon Wooden. Mrs. Bonnylin was a charter member of the Greenacres Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law; Bobby Joe and Sara Wooden and Michael Douglas and Vicky Wooden all of Bastrop, sister; Odette and husband W.R. Blankenship of Crossett, Arkansas, brother; Joe Frank and wife Virginia McKoin of Bastrop, grandsons; Laine and wife Mandy Wooden of Mobile, Alabama, James Douglas Wooden of Houston, Texas, Rev. Todd and wife Mickie Wooden of Bastrop, granddaughter; Amanda and husband Trey Eldridge of Bastrop, nine great grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers are Laine Wooden, Todd Wooden, Trey Eldridge, James King, Charles Burns, and Charlie Peterson.
