Charles J. “Charlie” Boles, age 77, of Fountain Run, KY died Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at his residence. The Barren County native was born December 8, 1937 son of the late Charles E. and Opal (Steenbergen) Boles. He married Loretta Sprowl in Fountain Run, KY March 14, 1964 who survives. Other than his father and mother his sisters, Mildred Wood & Madeline Blank, brother, Judge Boles & nephews, Donald Boles & Timmy England preceded him in death. He was retired owner of Sprowl’s Lumber Co, farmer and member of Fountain Run Church of Christ. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2015 at the Fountain Run Church of Christ Brent Boles & Jon Page will officiate Burial followed in the Tracy Cemetery in Barren County, KY. Keith & Tim Francis, Lanny Slaughter, O.J. Hurt, Faye Vibbert, Kenneth Simmons, Jimmy Rountree, Lee Jay Hurt, Bobby & Jimmy Sprowl & his nieces & nephews served as honorary pallbearers. Jon Page, Tommy Boles, Doug Boles, Brad Boles, Mike Boles, Will Beam & Nick Page served as pallbearers. Visitation will be Friday 1 – 8 p.m. at the Fountain Run Funeral Home. His survivors include; wife, Loretta Boles, son, Scott & wife Cindy Boles all of Fountain Run, son, Brent & wife Julie Boles of Murfreesboro, TN, daughter, Serena & husband Jim Beam of Port Washington, OH, 7 grandchildren, Will Beam, Katelyn, Alexis, Taylor, Abbie & Alex boles & Ashleigh Morris, 3 great-grandchildren, Jeremiah, Jackson & Joseph Morris, brothers, F.J. & wife Dixie Boles, Rex Boles & Jim & wife Sue Boles, sisters, Dot & husband Junior England & Darlene & husband Kelly Page, brothers-in-law, Gene Wood, Herman Blank, Jimmy & Bobby Sprowl & sister-in-law, Wilma Boles & host of nieces & nephews.
