Aged and Highly Esteemed Beaver Valley Lady Passes Away in Loraine, O.

Mrs. Margaret Walters died at the home of her son Blair Walters in Loraine, O, on Wednesday, September 2nd. Some teem ago she was stricken with paralysis but recovered some, and was able to come home to attend the Sunday School picnic at Beaver Valley on August 15th. After visiting friends for a few days she returned to Ohio. She was ill only a few days before her death. The remains were brought to Flinton on the 10:17 a.m. train, Saturday, September 5th and conveyed to the Beaver Valley U. B. church were services were conducted by the pastor the Rev. J. H. Bridigum. Interment followed in the Beaver Valley cemetery. Margaret Figart Walters was born in Blair County, Pa., on November 8th, 1839 and was 74 years, 10 months and 24 days at her demise. On September 16th, 1859, she was married to Christian Walters who preceded her to the grave. She leaves one son, Blair Walters, who resides at Loraine, O. Mrs. Walters was respected and esteemed by all who knew her and she had many warm friends in the this community.
