Mrs. Juline Perkins was born to James Dess Griffin and Moss Wilhite Griffin in Peacock, Texas. She was a long-time resident of Eastland County where her parents farmed and where she raised her children. She was a Licensed Vocational Nurse who took her job very seriously as she rendered compassionate care to all her patients. In addition to her love of family, and dedication to her profession, she was an avid dancer. She enjoyed dancing to country music of which she was a devoted fan. Unfortunately, she was a victim of Alzheimer’s dementia and spent the last several years of her life in the Valley View Nursing Home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, three brothers and one son, George Byron Casey. She is survived by a son and his wife, Herbert R. Casey, Jr. and Jackie of Mexia, Texas, two daughters Joyce Mathis of Ranger, and Debra Daniel and husband Raymond, Jr. of Guthrie. Surviving grandchildren are Kevin Fitch of Teague, Bruce Fitch of Allegan, Michigan, Wayne Lisenbee of Abilene, Toni Gibson of Jayton, Shandy Monty of Eastland, Rokisha Johnson of Encino, California and Jaleesa Garcia of Cameron, North Carolina, along with fourteen great-grandchildren.
