He was my great grandfather.
He was the son of Henry and Martha Elizabeth (Hartsell/Hartzell), husband to Rozella (Taylor), and the father of six.

The following was out of the La Porte Daily Herald paper on Tuesday, March 25,1919.

DEATH COMES TO MAN IN BUGGY

CHARLES EULER EXPIREES WHILE DRIVING ALONE ON MICHIGAN AVEUNE.

PASSERBY SEES LINES DRAGGING AND STEPS OUT TO STOP HORSE

DISCOVER OWNER GASPING FOR BREATH

WELL KNOWN CITIZEN AND HOUSE MOVER WAS SUFFERER FROM HEART DISEASE-DIES BEFORE PHYSICIAN CAN REACH HIS SIDE.
