Marwood Jannet Hatch passed away in her home in Forest Grove, Oregon, on Wednesday, August 12, 2015, after battling cancer for several years.

She was born February 16, 1948, to Woodrow Emerson Arrington and Marjorie Darlene Sherwood Arrington in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She attended the University of Idaho and Brigham Young University, where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in art.

Jannet loved bookkeeping and genealogical research. She volunteered at the LDS Beaverton Family History library for ten years and helped many research to find their own ancestors. She served as a Stake and Ward Relief Society president and Young Women's President within The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She married William J. Hatch in Idaho Falls March 7, 1969, and has four children: Stephanie K. Hatch Eliason, Phillip J. Hatch, W. Ryan Hatch, and Christopher E. Hatch. She is survived by her husband, all her children, son and daughters-in-law, and thirteen grandchildren.


Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 21, 2015, at Wood Funeral Home. 273 N. Ridge, Idaho Falls. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Friday at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
