Entombment will be in the St. Basil Cemetery Mausoleum in Judice. Deacon Cody Miller will conduct the graveside service.
Reverend Howard Blessing, Pastor of Holy Cross Catholic Church will be the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass and will conduct the Funeral Services. Giftbearers will be Noah Vincent, Sydnee Vincent, Logan Richard, and Bailey Vincent. Lectors are Karla Richard, Dana LeBlanc and Lori Broussard. Musical selections, "How Great Thou Art" and "Amazing Grace", will be performed by his Grand Niece, Bethany LeBlanc, violinist.
Survivors include one sister, Sandra Vincent and her husband, Preston; one brother, Kenneth "Keno" Hernandez and his wife, Claudia; a sister in law, Jeannie Hernandez; three nieces and six nephews; seventeen grand nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Andrew Hernandez and Jimmy Hernandez.
A native and lifelong resident of the Judice Community, Robert was the son of the late Lloyd Hernandez and the former Rosa Belle Arceneaux. He was employed with the Northside Pharmacy for many years. Robert loved eating out and traveling. He loved when his grand nieces and nephews visited him at Magnolia Estates.
Pallbearers will be Donald Richard, Andy LeBlanc, Jr., Keith Vincent, Brian Hernandez, Wayne Hernandez and Cody Hernandez.
The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's DOWNTOWN location on Saturday from 8:00 AM until time of service.
