This Find A Grave Memorial ends some 155 years of Harriet being identified only as: "Wife of Wm. F. Moore, July 20, 1851," There is no further identification on the gravestone. The 1850 census reveals that her name was Mrs. Harriet Moore. // The 1850 Census, Medina, Ohio, (District 203)Page 253A, indicates William F. Moore, 41, farmer, from England, with family: HARRIET (35), from New York, Priscilla A. (12), Mary M. (9), William B. (7), and Martha A. (2). HARRIET died one year after the census leaving a husband and four children. Her husband died in 1865 according to the 1881 publication, "History of Medina County and Ohio." Marriage records in the Medina County Library show that the full name of the wife of Wm. F. Moore is Harriet Chase Moore, and she married William on June 5, 1835. The marriage was performed by Rev. Ansel Brainard who was found to be serving both the Westfield and Seville Methodist Churches in that time period.
