She was the wife of the late William Smith and Charles Roth (should be Claude Roth). She was a self-employed seamstress. Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Cora (Green) Eckhart. Survivors: Daughter, Marguerite Freed of Palmerton; sons, Claude Eckhart of Thompson Station, Carl A. Roth of Los Angeles, Calif.; seven grandchildren, four stepchildren, 13 stepgrandchildren. Services: None scheduled. Arrangements, Williams Funeral Home, Thompson Station.
