Samuel R. Cornelius, aged 83, died at the family residence in Worth township at 3 o'clock this morning following a week's illness. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Rose Cornelius; five sons and two daughters, Mrs. Grace Taggart of Jacksville, William Cornelius of Worth township, Mrs. Ruth Wimer of Worth township, John of New Castle, Paul of Muddy Creek township, Samuel and James Cornelius at home; 17 grandchildren; a brother, John Cornelius of Grove City, and a sister, Mrs. George Hawk of Grove City. He was a member of the Wolf Creek United Presbyterian church.
