E. Lucille Teeter, age 92 of Fairfield died Friday, July 10, 2015 at SunnyBrook Living Care Center in Fairfield.

Lucille was born July 26, 1922 in Ottumwa, the daughter of Benjamin Franklin and Zadie Mae Rown Agee. Lucille grew up in Ottumwa and graduated from Ottumwa High School in 1940. She married Beryl D. Teeter on July 3, 19411 (sic) at Memphis, Missouri. She lived most of her adult life in Fairfield. Lucille and Beryl owned and operated Teeter Cleaners in Fairfield for 67 years.

Lucille was a member of the First Christian Church in Fairfield, the Fairfield Women's Club and the Elks Lodge.

She was preceded in death by her husband on March 31, 1992, her parents, 6 brothers: Roy, Orville, Ralph, Harold, Everett and Don Agee; and 2 sisters Nellie Stuehm and Dorothy Canny.

Surviving are her daughter and husband Nancy S. and Don Bekel of Fairfield; 2 grandchildren: Steve and wife Diane Bekel of Fairfield and Debbie Alcorn of O'Fallon, Missouri; 3 great grandsons: Ben (Jennifer) Bekel of Davenport, Phil Alcorn and Brandon Alcorn of O'Fallon, Missouri; 2 step-great grandsons David (Ashley) Robbins of Pella, IA and Daniel (Ashley) Robbins of North Liberty, IA; plus 2 sisters: Betty Cantrell and Martha Fort, both of Ottumwa and 1 brother Emmett Agee in California.

The funeral service will be Tuesday, July 14th at 10:30 A.M. at the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield with Reverend James H. Wakelin officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the Raymond Funeal (sic) Home in Fairfield. Memorials have been established to the First Christian Church in Fairfield or to the Fairfield Women's Club.
