Rosa Plambeck, 92, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2015 at Delmar Gardens Meramec Valley. Dear wife of 33 years to the late Edward E. Plambeck; dear mother to Mary Plambeck, Keith Plambeck, Kent (Marta) Plambeck, Carol (Bob) Kreutzer, Nance (Tom) Reese, Chris (Debbie) Plambeck and Susan Plembeck; dear grandmother to Preston Plambeck, Kaisha and Julianne Plambeck, Jordon, Logan, Melissa and Preston Plambeck, Shannon Oberle, Robert, Andrew and Michael Kreutzer, Natalie and Tommy Reese, Ryan and Sara Plambeck; Great grandmother to Riley and Braylen. Dear sister to the late Helen Thornton.
Rosa was born in St. Louis at Barnes Hospital in 1923 and grew up in Moberly MO. She was a 1946 graduate of Washington University with a Bachelors of Fine Arts. Her entire career was with the Federal Government in various agencies as a stenographer. Rosa was a docent (volunteer) with the St. Louis Zoo. She enjoyed Bridge and tennis.
