Thomas J. Dicken, age 62, died suddenly at the Jabe Denney rooming house here last Friday night, following a heart attack. He had three bad spells with his heart during the last several years, the first one being about 26 years ago and his physician had warned him that the fourth attack would probably end his days. He was a native of Clinton county. He moved here about a year ago and lived some time; then the family went to Dayton, Ohio, and he was here to arrange to move back here. He is survived by his widow, who was Miss Minnie E. Craig, of Albany, and besides his wife he is survived by the following children, Chester, of Little Crab, Tenn., Willie of Albany; Walter, Robert, Herbert, Glenda and Mrs. Luda Wray of Dayton, Ohio. The funeral services were held at Peola Cemetery, near Albany, Sunday and was attended by a large crowd. Those from here who attended were Miss Minnie Garrett, Miss Elsie Denney, Mrs. Ada Miller Bell and Josh Pitman.
