She is survived by 2 sons, Michael Cholak and wife Sherle of Houston, Pennsylvania and Dr. George Cholak and wife Catherine of St. Clairsville, Ohio; 1 daughter, Lora Cholak Slaughter and husband Larry of Thomasville, Georgia, formally of Bainbridge, Georgia; sister, Lillian Stevenson of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida; niece, Sherle Edwards of York Harbor, Maine and Palm Beach Gardens, Florida; grandchildren, Renee Adler of Alpharetta, Georgia, Michael Cholak of Ford City, Pennsylvania, Trista Slaughter Jones of Thomasville, Georgia, Sean Slaughter of Fortson, Georgia, Jonathan Cholak of San Antonio, Texas and Claire Norman of Elm Grove, West Virginia; great-grandchildren, Brice Adler of Washington, DC, Cole Adler of Alpharetta, Georgia, Riley and Grayson Jones of Thomasville, Georgia, Hays and Ben Slaughter of Fortson, Georgia and Dominic and Evan Cholak of Ford City, Pennsylvania. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Cholak was preceded in death by daughter, Patricia and 3 brothers.

Adelaide Filosi Cholak of Thomasville, GA, formerly of Meadow Lands, passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 7, 2015.
She was born October 12, 1917, in Meadow Lands, a daughter of the late Louis and Josephine Rossi Filosi.
On November 20, 1937, she married Michael Cholak in Washington, who passed away May 16, 1980.
Before moving to Georgia, Mrs. Cholak was a long-standing member of Meadow Lands United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Michael (Sherle)Cholak of Houston and Dr. George (Catherine) Cholak of St. Clairsville, Ohio; a daughter, Loralee Cholak Slaughter and husband Larry of Thomasville, GA.
Mrs. Cholak had six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services and burial were held in Thomasville July 11, 2015.
