He was a son of the late Willie and Nona Bradley Bentley, and was born
June 7, 1928 in Langley. He was a retired coal truck driver. An Army veteran, he
was a member of the D.A.V., Chapter 128, Garrett.
He is survived by three sons, Ronnie Bentley, of Langley, Dennis Randall
Bentley, of Wayland, Carl Edward Bentley, in Mich.; a daughter, Nona
Renee Bentley, also in Mich.; three brothers, Earl Bentley, of Martin,
Lawrence Bentley, of Langley, Alton Bentley, of Kansas City, Kansas; two
sisters, Helen Boyd, also of Langley, Ada Martin, of Hueysville, and four
grandchldren. He is also survived by Ellen Music.
Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Hall Funeral
Home with Regular Baptist ministers officiating. Burial was made in the family cemetery at Langley.
