Clara M. Hicks, 92, a home-maker, died Sunday, May 29, 2005, in Bridgeport.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Hawkins Chapel with burial in Eastside Bridgeport Cemetery.
Clara was born to Lee and America Kimbrell Barrett in Sulphur Springs. She married E.E. "Pappy" Hicks Dec. 24, 1932, in Sulphur Springs and were married 60 years until his passing in February 1992. She was preceded in death by grandchildren, Gary Hicks, Donna Isom and Kenny Isom; great-grandchildren, Cory Ray and Tony Pearce.
Survivors: Son, Everett Hicks and wife, Ann of Bridgeport; daughters, Nell Admire and husband, Bill of Bridgeport, Marjorie Isom and husband, James of Bridgeport, and Jean Ray and husband, Lee of Allen; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
