FORREST - The funeral of John R. Harms, 68, who died at 11/25 p.m. Tuesday at his home in Pleasant Ridge Township will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Culkin Funeral Home and at 2 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, with the Rev. M. E. Schroeder officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
He was born July 22, 1890 at Fairbury a son of John and Adaline Reents Harms. He married Jesse Saathoff Feb 22, 1911, at Fairbury.
Survivingh are his wife, three sons, Ralph, at home; Francis, Chenoa; George, R. R. 3, Bloomington; five daughters, Mrs. Ollie Head and Mrs. Eunice Rich, Forrest; Mrs. Phoebe Miller, Chatsworth; Mrs. Margaret Smith, Transfer, Pa.; Mrs. Edith Sancken, Yorkville; two brothers, Mano and Harry, Forrest; 19 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A sister preceded him in death.
He was a member of St. Paul's Luther Church.
