Former Sheriff of Cattaraugus County Killed in Youngstown, Ohio
Word has been received at Little Valley that Joseph Hazard, former Sheriff of Cattaraugus County, was killed in an automobile accident at Youngstown, Ohio, on Sunday.
Mr. Hazard was a brother of W. H. Hazard of Salamanca, and son of Joseph Hazard, an early settler of Napoli.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at the home of daughter, Mrs. Marguerite Hazard Standing, 22 Delason Avenue, Youngstown and the funeral party will arrive at Randolph, where interment will be made at 4:29 Thursday afternoon.
