Eliza Jane Bell, a daughter of Hugh Bell and the former Miss Martha Watt, was born¹ sometime around 1812 to 1815 in the Fairfield District of South Carolina. Her parents emigrated west in the early 1830's to Starkville, Mississippi; where they were founding members of Starkville A.R.P. Church. Here she meet and married² Francis Asberry "Frank" Ware; with whom she had the following know children:

In a letter³ dated October 1864 of Eliza & Frank's son, Hugh Bell Ware... Hugh writes to his Aunt Isabella Bell Wiseman about the death of his Grandpa & her father on September 14th. Hugh's father, Frank, adds a passage regarding the Will of the deceased and offers to act as her agent, if Will should be contested.
