Funeral for Mrs. Elsie Clara Cummins, 87, of Bonham, who died Saturday night, July 2, 1977, in a local hospital, was held in Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home chapel in Bonham Sunday afternoon. Burial was in Dodd City Cemetery.
A member of the Clark Memorial Methodist Church, she was born at Van Buren, Ark., March 8, 1890.
She was married July 21, 1907, to Claud Cummins at the Georgia school house in the Georgia community northeast of Honey Grove.
Surviving are her husband of the home; four sons, Earl of Galveston, Clifford of Windom, Ray of Sherman and Claud Jr. of Bossier City, La.; one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Williams of Trenton; one sister, Mrs. Jess Bowerman of Pampa; two brothers, Lester Pinninger of Lubbock and Arnold Pinninger of Fort Worth; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
