Leroy Enzminger farmer, died Thursday evening, May 15, 1997, in the Deaconess Medical Center. He was born July 14, 1938, in Napoleon, N.D., a son of Henry and Pauline Junker Enzminger. He moved with his parents to Montana at the age of 10 months, where he grew up and attended schools, graduating from Hardin High School in 1957. Following his education and the death of his father, he and his brother Marvin took over the family farm and began a lifelong love of farming. Leroy married Connie Klein on Sept. 7, 1968, in Hardin and the couple made their home on the family farm. Leroy was a man who always worked hard, but was always willing to assist his many friends. His pride and joy was his grandson, Colton. They often entered into conversations about "John Deere Green." He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Marvin. Leroy served on the Board of Directors for the Two Leggins Water Users Association for many years and was a past member of the Hardin Area Chamber of Commerce.  He attended the Open Bible Church, always sitting in the back pew, where he could "sleep the best." Survivors include his wife, Connie; two daughters, Janelle (Bill) Grinsteiner and Shawna (Paul) Stieber of Hardin; his mother, Pauline Schmidt of Hardin and his grandson. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Bullis Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery. Bullis Mortuary of Hardin is entrusted with the arrangements..
